"Twister"
"Twister" is our breakthrough mare. She represents years of hard work and dedication to a cause &
purpose. We have consistently tried to breed our mares to the very best in the industry in an effort to give
the foals the best chance possible. Twister was originally sold at the Futurity Sales as a yearling but was
never trained. Therefore, we bought her back believing that she had the talent to be a very good reiner.
We sent her to Gabe Hutchins in late September of her 3 year old year. She had about 1 month of riding and
was very green before Gabe began to ride her. In a short nine months of training she made the Intermediate
Open Derby Finals with Gabe in the saddle. It has been an incredible almost unbelievable story but true just
the same. We are extremely proud of her and look forward to the Derbies in 2010 and now she has a little more
training to go with it. All we can say is, "tighten your cinch and buckle up because the black mare is on
the loose!"
